Safe, professional firearms training to satisfy the training requirements for the Maryland concealed carry permit.
Based on a Supreme Court ruling, Governor Hogan directed the Maryland State Police on June 30, 2022 to suspend the, “good and substantial reason” requirements to attain a Maryland Wear and Carry permit essentially making Maryland a “shall issue” state. Maryland issues permits to both residents and non-residents. There is a 16 hour firearms training requirement for new permits and 8 hour firearms training for permit renewals. Honorably discharged military veterans are exempt from the training requirements at this time.
Our instructors are certified through the NRA, National Rifle Association and are Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructors pursuant to MD COMAR 29.03.01.37. Taking the MD Wear and Carry Permit course will fully satisfy your training requirements for the permit.
